Tips For Providing Your Saliva Sample
Before you start, make sure you go through the instructions included with your saliva collection kit.
Sometimes, some people may have difficulties providing the required amount of saliva. If this happens to you, you can try some of the following methods to help increase saliva production:
- Gently rubbing the outside of your cheeks
- Making chewing motions with your mouth
- Smelling, imagining or watch videos of sour foods such as lemons
- Thinking about your own favourite food
